7.4. The meaning of 'medical attention' 

 

 

 

Eric's coach stopped the bleeding by using pressure bandages and tape. Was this sufficient 'medical attention or treatment' for the purposes of the Injuries in Sports Act?

(a) Yes, because the procedure used by the coach to stop the bleeding is a medical procedure.

 

(b) No, because for the purposes of the Act, medical treatment means treatment given by a doctor.
