11.4. Searching for cases

 

 

 

How do you find decided cases that might help you? This case is concerned with contract law and how particular terms become part of a contract. You may already know of some decided cases on these topics but there will certainly be some you have not heard of. What should you do? Choose the best answer from those below.

(a) Read a textbook on contract law to see what relevant cases are mentioned and described.

(b) Go to the library and search through the available digests, indexes and tables to find relevant cases in the law reports.

(c) Use a computer to search for and find relevant cases in online databases.
