4.7. An offer to whom?

Read the facts and the question and then choose the best answer.

A says to B: "I will sell you these 24 bottles of wine for $2,000. You won't easily find this vintage again."

C, a bystander, replies to A: "That's a terrific opportunity. I'll pay you $2,000 for the wine."

Has A made an offer which C can accept?

(a) Yes, anyone who learns of an offer can accept it.

(b) No, in these circumstances, C cannot accept the offer.
