Legislation exists in written form. The style and structure of legislation follows certain conventions. Being familiar with these conventions enables you to find the information you want in an Act quickly.

You can see examples of the way Acts are structured by clicking on the links below.  You should note that the actual contents of these Acts are not important from the point of view of business law.  They have been chosen only as convenient examples of what to expect when you read or refer to legislation.
