Making a contract
1. How and when agreements become contracts

1.3. The focus of this module

This module does not try to cover every possible aspect of contract formation. It tries rather to give the 'big picture', explaining why the basic rules of contract formation exist and illustrating how they operate in practical situations. The use of examples will help prepare you for the task of problem-solving. You will quickly learn to recognise and distinguish situations that attract specific rules.

Think carefully about each example before you read the feedback.  You may need to go through the module a couple of times, perhaps making some brief notes, until you have become familiar with the examples and have learned what rules apply in each case.
