(a)  At federal level, the King’s representative in Australia called a ‘Governor General’.  At state level, the King’s representative is called a ‘Governor’.

(b)  The monarch’s representatives are the formal ‘heads of state’ of the Australian Commonwealth and the Australian States.

(c)   The monarch’s representatives in Australian governments have purely ceremonial roles: they have no executive or legislative powers.
