In addition to the various vitiating circumstances dealt with in this module, it should be noted that s 243 of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) empowers a court to set aside a transaction as void, in whole or in part, on grounds of a breach of a provision of Chapters 2, 3 or 4 of the ACL, or because of an unfair term in a consumer contract.
