In this Act, special provision has been made for the date on which its provisions become operational.
Always check to see if there is a commencement section. If not, remember that the Act will have begun to operate 28 days after receiving Royal assent.
Note that, in this Act, the commencement section provides that part of the Act will apply retrospectively - before the date of Royal assent.
