The title is restated at the start of the Act itself.
In printed versions, a crest may indicate which government has enacted the legislation, and this may also be obvious from the title of the Act. Which government enacted particular legislation is also often included when Acts are cited in legal texts or indexes.
The date on which an Act received Royal assent is shown immediately below the title. This indicates that the legislation has completed the required processes to become law. It may also be relevant in determining the commencement date of the Act.
