(a)  The legislative powers that states have agreed to share with the Commonwealth government are listed in the various state constitutions.

(b)  The matters on which legislative powers are shared by the Commonwealth and the state legislatures include banking, postal and telecommunication services.

(c)   The power of the self-governing territories to make law is given to them by legislation enacted by the Commonwealth government.
