(a) Damages for breach of contract will not be awarded if the breach, even though proved, did not cause any quantifiable loss to the plaintiff.

(b) Damages for breach of contract are calculated to put a plaintiff financially in the position they would have been in if the contract was properly performed.

(c) Damages for breach of contract are calculated to put the plaintiff in the position they would have been in if they had not entered into the contract which has been breached.
