(a)  When deciding the meaning of a term in a contract that limits or excludes the liability of one party, the courts will interpret any ambiguity in that term in the same way that it interprets any other agreed term in a contract.

(b)  When deciding the meaning of a term in a contract that limits or excludes the liability of one party, the courts will treat any ambiguity in that term as grounds for invalidating it.

(c)   When deciding the meaning of a term in a contract that limits or excludes the liability of one party, the courts will interpret any ambiguity in that term narrowly rather than broadly, but will not treat the term as invalid.
