No, you have not chosen the best answer.  Information technology has greatly improved the accessibility of the law, but it has not decreased its volume or its complexity.  It is probably true to say that there is more law now than ever before, and it just seems to keep growing.  So it is exteremely unlikely that you will ever be able to learn and remember everything you need to know about the law. 

For that reason, it is more important to learn the basic structures and principles of the Australian legal system, which you can then use as a map when setting out to discover things you don’t yet know.  For example, by knowing the difference between legislation and case law, where to find these kinds of law, and how to understand and apply them appropriately, you can build your knowledge of the detaild law through research and reading.
