7 (b). You said that the dealer's liability under the provisions that protect consumers who enter into an unsolicited consumer agreement cannot be excluded by agreement.

That's right. There would be no point in making provisions to protect consumers who enter into unsolicited consumer agreements if the consumer could give up those rights by agreement. Accordingly, s 90 of the ACL states that a consumer cannot waive any rights conferred by the provisions of the ACL dealing with unsolicited consumer agreements.
