The Commonwealth, state or territory Minister responsible for the administration of the ACL is empowered by s 129 of the ACL to publish a written notice on the internet, warning that specified goods or services are under investigation to determine whether they pose a risk of injury; or to warn of possible risks.
When any investigation has been completed, and the goods have not been recalled or banned, the Minister may publish the results and give notice of any proposed action.
